When you create an account we collect your phone number and/or email address (via Clerk, our sign-in provider), a leaderboard name you choose, and a North Carolina or South Carolina zip code to confirm your region. When you post rounds we store your golf scores, dates, and the course you played.
Your username and Board Index appear on the public leaderboard. Your round history is visible only to you on your personal dashboard. We use your zip code only to determine your state (NC or SC) — it is never displayed publicly. Your email or phone is used only for account authentication and, if you opt in, for activity notifications from players you follow.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Your username and Board Index are public. Clerk, our authentication provider, processes your sign-in credentials under their own Privacy Policy.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your data, email us at ontheboardgolf@gmail.com and we will remove your record within 30 days.
We use session cookies necessary for authentication. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
